The overall
goal of the Project is the increase the value of human capital and quality
of life by improving access to quality health services. Specifically,
it aims to achieve the following objectives:

1.
|
Improve
capacities and capabilities of local government units, communities,
and non-government organizations to plan , manage, monitor and finance
health programs and services;
|
|
2.
|
Develop
and implement local health sub-systems especially, health services
planning, health information, hospital regulations and management,
human resource development, and health care financing, and RFOs'
capability to support these systems; and
|
|
3.
|
Strengthen
DOH's capacity to plan, implement, and monitor investment projects
similar to ICHSP.
