Field Health Service Information System

This report is a nationwide compilation of selected health indicators of the different programs such as Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health, Expanded Program on Immunization, Communicable Disease Control, Dental Health and vital statistics which are presented by province, city and region.  These data are useful for planning, monitoring and evaluating health activities.


Health Beat

     The Official Publication of the Department of Health published bi-monthly by the Health Communication Division of the National Center for Health Promotion (NCHP) and the Media Relations Unit of the Office of the Secretary, Department of Health.
     Articles, artworks, photographs, caricatures, letters and other contributions are most welcome.  Materials will be edited for clarity and space.  Unsolicited manuscripts will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed, sufficiently stamped envelope.  Contributors must indicate their names and addresses.

Philippine Morbidity and Mortality Report

The Philippine Morbidity and Mortality Report is published quarterly by the Scientific Communication Unit, National Center for Health Promotion of the Department of Health to communicate/disseminate and fully utilize timely, relevant and evidence-based health information and scientific results.


Philippine Health Statistics

The Philippine Health Statistics is a set of collected statistical data on births, deaths, fetal and maternal deaths and notifiable diseases.   The statistical data on births, deaths, fetal and maternal deaths were provided by the National Statistics Office (NSO).  Data on Notifiable Diseases were collected through the Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS) that obtains data from field health units- Rural Health Units and Barangay Health Stations. 


Health Bulilitin

Health BULILITin is published monthly by the Multimedia Center of Excellence of the National Center for Health Promotion.   The printing of this newsletter is sponsored by the Women's Health and Safe Motherhood Project with funds coming from the Asian Development Bank.  Opinions expressed in this newsletter do not necessarly represent those of the DOH.    The mention of specific companies or products does not imply that they are endorsed or recommended by the DOH in preference to others of similar nature.
