Short-term goals

     Trained epidemiologists in the regions
     Trained epidemiologists in the LGUs

Objectives: By the end of 2007

     All regions must have trained epidemiologists
     10% of provinces and cities must have trained epidemiologists
     NEC must have prepared an expansion plan for FETP training

Strategies:

     Improve marketing and advocacy for FETP training

     Improve FETP training curriculum and modules for masters degree accreditation
     Organize pool of experts, training faculty and staff for FETP
     Establish training administrative systems and procedures
     Upgrade facilities, materials, logistics and equipment for FETP training
     Preparation and approval of project proposal to establish satellite FETP training centers

     Expand coverage of FETP training

Objectives: By the end of 2010

     Satellite FETP training centers must have been established in the Visayas and in Mindanao
