  • Organize a “Bantay Rabis sa Barangay” Brigade
  • Initiate and oversee the overall program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation within the municipality
  • Generate support for the rabies program from other agencies
  • Mobilize the people to actively participate in the community based rabies prevention and control prevention and control committees
  • Make sure that there are no stray dogs and dogs has received yearly anti-rabies vaccination
  • Continuous regular dialogues and situational analysis in the community committees
  • Implement dog impounding of stray dogs

  • Identify teachers who can be the Key Leader in organizing Anti Rabies Scouters in the school
  • Initiate inclusion of rabies prevention and control PTA meetings
  • Brigade can organize parents class to develop necessary knowledge and attitude on rabies prevention and control
  • Top potential children from grades 4,5,6 who can be effective leaders and willingly and actively participate in the anti-rabies activities.
